Merge[edit]

I think we could go with the name Tonalist (instead of Tonalist (horse), but regardless one has to go. and, of course, that article is the one with the actual content. if i had seen it, i would have not created mine, but still suggested a name change. i think both were created within seconds of each other!Mercurywoodrose (talk) 23:52, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would prefer to go with Tonalist as the article name. You could just copy the content from this one into the other article and then turn this into a redirect. I'm not sure how merging works. Tigerboy1966  23:57, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If Tigerboy is ok, I say copy and paste, make that a redirect. Not complicated. If one of you don't get to it in a hour or so, I'll look at it after I fix up race results. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.101.138.67 (talk) 04:01, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First cousins?[edit]

Curious about the description in the lead. I've never heard of horses sharing a grandsire being described as "cousins" before - is this really an equine term? --Bcp67 (talk) 16:47, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That was a crap edit that snuck in there. Though true, actually... Montanabw(talk) 05:18, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Australia is a third cousin once removed of Kingston Hill who finished second to him in the Derby and a sixth cousin twice removed of Romsdal, who finished third. And yes I am enough of an anorak to know that! Must put that in the lede for 2014 Epsom Derby.  Tigerboy1966  19:17, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
LOL! And here I thought an anorak was a waterproof parka! Montanabw(talk) 22:15, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
