Untitled[edit]

A photo of the large thatched barn at Abbey Grange Place Farm would spur expansion of this article wink wink nudge nudge eh--Wetman (talk) 12:57, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have added one, I hope it's useful. Moonraker2 (talk) 23:11, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Village or town?[edit]

Tisbury is in List of towns in England and Category:Towns in Wiltshire although it does not appear to have adopted town status. The council site describes itself as a Parish Council. For the time being I made no changes. Wire723 (talk) 12:44, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is a village. Sumorsǣte (talk) 17:13, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Roman villa[edit]

The description of the recently-discovered villa is well written ... but I suspect it's not in Tisbury. Both Brixton Deverill and List of Roman villas in England have it near Brixton Deverill, 8 miles northeast of Tisbury and a different parish. The Telegraph journalist may have chosen Tisbury as the nearest sizeable place. Wire723 (talk) 10:36, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I suspected as much. But I thought I'd better get it down somewhere. I did search wiki but could not find it. Most other sources just say "Wiltshire". I'm sure a search for the name of the property and the owner should pin it down, especially as he's a designer in business. Feel free to delete here and/or merge with the material at Brixton Deverill or, better still, create a new stand alone article. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:41, 19 April 2016 (UTC) p.s. Luke Irwin has posted a lot on his own website This MBN source locates the property to Brixton Deverill.[reply]
Now moved. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:05, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
