Date of founding[edit]

I was thinking straight away that date of founding was wrong - I recall their first machines really were tiny, perhaps the size of a couple of 3½" floppy drives on top of each other. Those were 286s if I remember correctly and would probably date to 1992 or thereabouts. It was only later they essentially became a generic clone supplier.

Still vague memories don't count for anything but I did find a September 1995 issue of Personal Computer World in my pile of old computer magazines, probably published in late July. They have a Tiny advert. That doesn't establish when they were founded but it shows the date given is incorrect. 3142 (talk) 22:40, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed that the founding date is wrong, my parents bought a Tiny Computers 486DX2/66 PC in 1994, ordered with 4MB RAM but they accidentally supplied 8MB. I doubt any paperwork survives for it any more, but there's a chance we might still have the box it came in. 8th October 2021 23:36 UTC
