Structure picture[edit]

The structure picture doesn't look quite right the octahedra form sheets by sharing of corners with one F above the plane and one below. I am rubbish at pictures so I will leave it to an expert.Axiosaurus (talk) 18:13, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I just downloaded the structure and checked it, it's exactly as you describe but also matches the current image. What doesn't make sense to you? Ben (talk) 21:41, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is it used in toothpaste?[edit]

There is one reference- looks reputable - but it seems to be the only one- most authorities go with SnF₂ as the toothpaste additive rather than SnF₄.Axiosaurus (talk) 18:29, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think probably I would rate a book on toothpastes over a book on general inorganic chemistry in this context, so I've deleted the toothpaste reference.
