WP:NOT Censored[edit]

I noticed that one of the entries on the timeline is "(Expletive) hot!". Seeing as Wikipedia is not censored, shouldn't the quote be present in its full, original form. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 19:56, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's censored in the original NASA transcript, so, alas, I don't have a source to fill in the missing word. Colds7ream 20:56, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to say that the timeline is looking really good. I did wonder though, why you had decided not to include dialogue from Mission Control as part of it. I think that having that dialogue, especially post-accident, really adds something to understanding how the chain of events unfolded. MLilburne 08:07, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, its because I couldn't find it - if you know where I could get a copy of that transcript, i'd be delighted to add it in. Thanks for the compliment, by the way! Colds7ream 08:41, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Spaceflight Now transcript is probably the best source. I can see that there might be some difficulty fitting the timestamps all in the right places because some of the segments of dialogue go on for a while, but I'm sure there's some way to get around that.
I probably could have phrased the compliment even more strongly than I did. This is the most useful Challenger timeline I've seen available, and a really great complement to the main article. So yeah, keep up the good work! MLilburne 08:54, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
