Untitled[edit]

Strange,the article seems to be there. What I would like to point out that I corrected a typo (I changed "Baron Holand" to "Baron Holland"). As "Baron Holand" was hyperlink, it now points to Baron Holland, which is an entirely different article in the wikipedia. How is this to be fixed?

Eleanor[edit]

Thomas appears to have had two daughters called Eleanor/Alianore; i changed the first listed to the second spelling, which appears to be an acceptable variation, in that it seemed confusing the previous way. Lindsay H. 06:17, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs meaningful content. It also contains inaccuracies; for instance, Thomas Holland, 2nd Earl of Kent was never Baron Holland of Upholland. Neither was his father Thomas Holland who m. Joan of Kent. The description for the picture when you click on it is: Coat of arms of Edmund of Woodstock, 1st Earl of Kent.

These arms are also pictured in the article for Edmund of Woodstock.

Did they share arms because they were both Earls of Kent?

If so, I suggest changing the description of the jpeg file to include Thomas Holland.

Marshal of England?[edit]

The EB1911 article Kent, Earls and Dukes of states that Thomas was appointed "marshal of England" from 1380 to 1385. The Earl Marshal article suggests that John FitzAlan, 1st Baron Arundel held it posthumously from 1379 until 1383, and it was then picked up by another marshal in 1385, so the idea that Thomas held it is plausible. The EB1911 article Earl Marshal is confusing with respect to various Thomases. Without a primary or secondary source, I'm not inclined to award him the honour. Does anyone have a source?
