What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Thomas J Bergersen.jpg)

Over one thousand soundtracks and film trailers?[edit]

There is a reference to businessinsider stating: "The two musicians have scored more than 1,000 soundtracks". That statement is about two musicians; first, is that true; second, does this mean it is also true for Thomas? Over one thousand is really a lot so I would like some additional resources to verify this claim. To verify I looked at his discography and found "only" 829 lines (copy paste in Excel or text editor, dirty but effective) with many lines not being soundtracks or film trailers or even music at all so I find the statement very questionable.NicoLaan (talk) 09:02, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Self-promotional and not trustworthy.[edit]

Unsettling use of Wikipedia to solicit "submissions" from young persons by linking to a personal website for promises of prize winnings. Mythshaker (talk) 02:07, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
