This page redirected to the One Thousand and One Nights page, which had an over-long account of the story there. As "The Three Apples" is a first-level story in the collection, it ought to have it's own page, so I've re-written this as an article page and transferred the account here. For attribution purposes the Plot Summary here is derived from the account in the Crime fiction elements section of the One Thousand and One Nights page.
