Airings?[edit]

What's the basis for listing when this episode was aired? Also, I'm positive this is wrong because I've personally seen it on at different times than this. I'm going to remove this section. If someone wants to put it back, it should have a reference.Papercrab 05:57, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:The Telltale Head/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

There are quite a few problems with the article, nothing which can't be fixed though. Here's the things that need fixing:

  • Try and expand the lead a little. Maybe add something about the reception. Done
  • Merge the Production and First appearances sections. Done
  • Merge Reception and Legacy. Done
  • There's no need to reference the plot. Per WP:MOSTV: "Plot summaries do not normally require citations; the television show itself is the source, as the accuracy of the plot description can be verified by watching the episode in question."
  • Image:SideshowBobsfirstappearance.png I don't see how this image qualifies for fair-use here. Done
  • What makes "rec.arts.tv" reliable? Done Removed information also, as it would be unreferenced.
  • Un-wikilink "beheaded" in the infobox caption. Done
  • "and originally" >> and it originally Done
  • "three children Bart admires" name the children (if they're named in the episode, or other episodes). Done
  • "$5.00" >> "US$5" Done
  • "On his way in" >> "On his way to the movie" Done
  • " I thought" take away the space between " and "I" Done
  • "despicable deed" This may just be me, but this sounds very sketchy. Try replacing "despicable" with a word like horrific or atrocious. Done
  • "'one who done this,'" Use speech marks to quote not apostrophes and to think about it, there's no need to really quote that anyway. Done
  • "(who also feels more than a little responsible for this incident)" remove "also" and change the brackets to commas. Done
  • "into the statue" >> "onto the statue" Done
  • "episode is flashbacks" >> "episode in flashbacks" Done
  • Maybe 4 or 5 words to describe who Jack Woltz is. Done
  • "This episode is the first for the characters" >> "This is the first episode of the series in which [the list of characters] appear." Done
  • Warren Martyn and Adrian Wood, said they enjoyed: "the Simpsons [being] grossly dysfunctional in church, Homer dispensing terrible advice, and a real moral dilemma for Bart." Done
  • "adds" >> "added that" Done
  • Add a full-stop/period after "to come" Done
  • "15.2 and a 26 percent audience share" explain what this means. DoneRemoved info. See above.
  • remove ", as "Professor Chaos"" Done
  • "Second" >> "The second reference was in the episode" Done

I'm putting the article on hold, meaning that you have a week to fix these problems. I'll promote if they're fixed by then. Leave a message on my talk page when an editor fixes the problems. -- [User]Jamie JCA[Talk] 00:42, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Syndication Cuts[edit]

The syndication cuts secution seems to be either original research or in need of citations. Lots42 (talk) 05:47, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
