1956 radio broadcast[edit]

"The Stronger" was presented in the experimental U.S. network series CBS Radio Workshop on June 15, 1956, and sung by Adelaide Bishop. The program included an introduction by Goddard Lieberson, president of CBS Records. This appears to be the first broadcast performance of the opera.

The following is (with some deletions) the program listing from RadioGoldindex.com.
