Confusion in the plot summary[edit]

I can't figure out what's going on here. There are sudden character introductions, ambiguous sentences everywhere, and lots of mentionings of "he" and "she" without explaining who "he" and "she" are. --Wafulz 23:11, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Line cribbed from the Guardian[edit]

I removed the last line of the article,

Lucy in old age sees people with phones to their ears and hears on the wireless about the internet, and wonders what it is.
