Band's name starts with "The..."[edit]

The name of this band starts with "The..." The proper name for them is "The Shadows of Knight" (as they were best known, both during most of their glory years in the 1960's, and presently as a re-formed duo group--the only exception to this being the title to their 1969 Super-K LP, when their name was spelled out without "The..."--on all other releases thier name appears with "The..." as a heading). [1] [2] See pictures of album covers and sleeves, etc. for confirmation (check Googe images for album and 45 sleeves). I have made the necessary correction in the heading, and in the subsequent text.

However, I don't know how to correct the article title up at the tip top. Can one of the master editors can help me by correcting the band's name in the title of the article (adding "The..." to the band's name). Thanks. Garagepunk66 (talk) 22:43, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Relevant guidance is at WP:THE. Personally I don't have a strong view - this is a matter where it's difficult to achieve consistency across WP. Ghmyrtle (talk) 10:05, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
