Removal of Hypatia

I've read through the archived discussion from 2020 and I'm absolutely mystified that any mention of the dispute was deleted from this article. That makes no sense. Clearly, as the previous discussion indicated, the controversy was covered by Abbott & Abbott (2011) and many others. Therefore, Wikipedia should briefly cover it. And yet, it was deleted in toto, with bizarre claims of a hoax, of which there is no such evidence. Someone make it make sense, because I cannot understand the reasoning.
