My edit of 28 Sep 2014[edit]

I expanded the article with a lot more info as previously it was just a bare stub. I removed the Expand section tag. I also removed the wikilink on Bruce Campbell (I assume that was done by a bot) as that actor would have been 11 years old at the time (which, come to think of it, might explain why this movie turned out as such a mess). I was, if you can't tell, greatly disappointed by this movie, as I had known of its existence for decades before I finally saw it. I've been a great Bradbury fan for many years and I had naturally assumed it would have Bradbury's original ending. Sorry, no, it was changed; why, I can't imagine. For Bradbury fans this is not unexpected as his work has a dreadful track record when put onto film. I came back a year later to see if there had been any significant changes to this and found a couple that baffled me. User Randy Kryn deleted the word "bittersweet," a change I don't understand, but I won't belabor the point, as there is no way to know what this article will look like a year from now. Whatever. User Bilsonius changed the way the original short story's title is presented. Back in covered wagon days, short stories and magazine articles were written with quotation marks and larger works (books, movies, etc.) were written in italics. I will change that back.
