Deletion Argument[edit]

The Murdocks page should not be deleted. The band is very well-known amongst the indie scene in Texas and will be touring with the 90's mainstream band Cake in front of large audiences of 3000. The band has also played several prominent festivals (South By Southwest, Warped Tour, CMJ Festical) that are seen by an extremely large audience.

In addition to that, sources are clearly cited. The King of Extreme (talk) 04:07, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the speedy, as the article asserts notability. However, you may want to find some third party sources for the claims, that show they meet the notability guidelines in WP:MUSIC. Kesac (talk) 04:01, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'll get those sources as soon as possible. By the way, they meet notability guidelines 1, 2, 9 and possibly 12, depending on if KRTU is considered a national radio station due to the fact it is broadcast on local radio as well as the internet. This page reads as nothing but self promotion.[edit]

Unless this page can maintain information that does not contain heavy usage of peacock terms, I feel a move should be made for the speedy deletion of this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.24.200.141 (talk) 11:36, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
