Episodes[edit]

I know that History's website lists the 4 2-hour episodes listed here, but should we also list the 8 1-hour varriants listed on TV Guide's site — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.223.76.95 (talk) 15:34, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy[edit]

Is this a good place to discuss the accuracy? In particular, the nomination of Theodore Roosevelt to Vice President was more to do with party bosses wanting him out of New York than any desire by the men featured in the series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.165.180.196 (talk) 16:42, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Eight-hour?[edit]

Are we talking about this one http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2167393/ ?

Well then each episode is not 2 hours, but 85-90 minutes without commercials (see http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/8055917/The.Men.Who.Built.America.2012.COMPLETE.720p.BluRay.x264-GECKOS_ ).

So the total runtime is ~6 hours, not "eight-hour".

You answered your own question: there are two hours of commercials in this eight-hour series. But even without commercials it still feels padded to the brim. Mikus (talk) 06:40, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Name change OR page edit?[edit]

The History Channel has come out with a new series also called The Men Who Built America, but instead of The Innovators, it's called Frontiersmen. 76.0.4.223 (talk) 18:32, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
