I don't think this should be merged with his bio, since the profile of Frank O'Connor on Wikipedia - a writer whose stature has been compared by critics to Yeats, Synge, and Joyce and who Yeats himself once described as "Ireland's Chekhov" - needs to be greatly expanded. Also, this is a hugely influential study of the short story. Just ask Richard Ford, who quotes from it regularly!
