Cleanup[edit]

This article is a collection of indiscriminate and redundnant information and need cleaning up :: Princess Tiswas 19:36, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy[edit]

User:MirrorrorriM is adding a 'controversy' section which is an uncited collection of not-particularly-notable information. I have reminded her on her talk page about citing sources, but she has not produced any verifiable sources. At this point, I am treating this section as vandalism, but if you'd like to add sources and explain why this information is notable in an encyclopedia entry on the school, this is the place to do it. -FisherQueen 22:53, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh My god. look at the state of the names! pisaman2 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pisaman2 (talkcontribs)

Cleaning house[edit]

I've removed two sections- the school day schedule and the school year calendar. These sections are the biggest repositories of indiscriminate information that Princess Tiswas mentioned above; they are not likely to be interesting or useful for anyone except current students, who presumably already know them. I've left the lengthy staff list for now, but seriously considered cutting it in the interests of eliminating infodumping, too- would be glad to hear any arguments on either side.

Minor changes[edit]

A few spelling errors corrected. eg

Fair use rationale for Image:Forest logo.png[edit]

Image:Forest logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Cleanup To Do[edit]

  1. Article is messy. Needs copyediting.
  2. Wikify all sections
  3. Sourcing required.
  4. Fair use images if possible.

Propose to replace entire article[edit]

Given that this article seems to be largely unencyclopaedic, and has been tagged for some time, I have set about trying to bring it into line with WP:WPSCH/AG both in terms of headings, and by adding referencing for all facts. The result is in my userspace: User:Tafkam/Forest. I cannot see much else that warrants saving from the old article, but equally I recognise that this would leave little more than a stub. If anyone is able to provide additional detail, then I'd be glad to see it included, but unless there are objections I intend to replace the current article with the content at my userspace in the coming days. Tafkam (talk) 18:34, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As there has been no objection, I will replace the text now. Tafkam (talk) 18:33, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good. Far better than the previous version. Thank you! --Lendorien (talk) 17:46, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
