Why is everyone mistaking Beans for a panther?:[edit]

Release date discrepancy[edit]

Here, the date is listed as 3/9/1936. But on BCDB.COM it's listed as 12/23/1935. In addition, at the beginning the cartoon itself has two years listed. The first is definitely 1935, then there's a comma. Then the second is harder to make out, but if I had to guess, it looks like 1937, but definitely not 1936. It looks clearest when you pause right as the credits screen is fading out.

Anybody have any sources that can distinguish between the 1935 and 1936 dates?

After posting, I looked around online, and sadly I found both of these dates listed on multiple sites, but none that could be considered more official or definitive than wikipedia or bmdb. Fgoron2000 (talk) 00:41, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
