Referencing[edit]

The article, while interesting, needs considerable attention by its regular editor(s). There are numerous statements that need references, which I have tagged. I also provided sample references in paragraph 2, based on the reading list at the bottom of the article. I also did some minor copy-editing, but am loathe to go further until the fact tags are gone.

It appears that there are plenty of references to pull from the reading list, but whoever posted them, please follow the proper wiki referencing format (examples in para 2) and attach references directly to the appropriate sentences. Good luck! Smatprt (talk) 03:48, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"A play which features two characters called Jaques or Jakes (which he says is after the toilet), as well as a contemporary allegory to Sir John Harington (the inventor of the flush toilet),[citation needed] turns out to contain another comic Jewish allegory.[citation needed]" (removed due to lack of proper reference and wording) Artaxerxes (talk) 14:45, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
