Untitled[edit]

How'd a band that got into so much trouble get signed to a Christian label? Did their legal troubles get them in trouble with the label? Dawhitfield 12:28, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm wondering not only how they're on a Christian record label, but also how the contributors know this stuff (especially about the binge drinking, homosexual parties, etc.). I would question the accuracy of this article, not because I don't believe bands wold do that stuff, but because I don't believe people would find out about it.

Probably original research. Then again, in and around Tulsa, where these people are fairly well known, the stories aren't that hard to come by; the parties always had shitloads of people there, so it isn't as if what went on is any sort of secret.Timmybiscool 17:19, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't there another bass player? When they toured on their first album they had another guy that doesn't seem to be listed here anywhere. I actually met him after he had left the band. Can't remember his name though. Also, it would be really nice if there was some more actual information about the band itself, rather than the criminal records of its former members (and one current member). Hmm... An anonymous user removed the text "(it is alleged that these parties involved narcotics, binge drinking, and homosexual group sex)" yesterday. No comments left. Why is this a redirect from Jacob Hacker? I just see external links at the bottom that reference some guy in prison with that name. Jacob Hacker is a Yale professor and author so I would think that takes precedence. 67.116.237.164 07:04, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Even though they were signed to a christian label doesn't mean they're christian, right? The latest edit to the wiki says they're contemporary christian. But yet later it states that they said they are not. Doesn't that conflict with itself? Now I'm not really sure of the technical terms that Contemporary christian goes by, meaning that: "the music they make can have religious themes, but it doesn't mean they're christian".--is that the kind of quote a person would need in order for that to stay on the page? I just don't want to go around deleting so called "facts".(oh yeah, would this go here, or would I move it down in a new section under the discussion about the picture??) Image:Darkest redcover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. The genre of the Agony Scene[edit]

So lately I noticed that the genre of the band has been changed quite often to sometimes genres not even similar to the bands actual style, So now I'm wondering what people should really consider them as. On their mysapce page it says hardcore/metal, so does that mean that in the main introductuion to the page it shoud say: "...is a hardcore metal band from..."? And yes I still think that part where the intro talks about the band being a combination of hardcore and thrash metal should stay. But should the genre mentioned in the intro be metalcore, or hardcore metal?(isn't that the same thing?) because it still has some of both I guess, depends on what the people think. the agony arn't together anymore[edit]
