Crossover actress?[edit]

Okay, so Teri Weigel did THE DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION, PART II, in 1988, which sounds like a non-erotic film, as do some of the others in '89 and '90. Now, more specifically, she did non-erotic films after she starting doing X-rated? If so, that would show increasing acceptance of sex in society (and specifically of female sexuality, which we have all kinds of problems accepting in modern society, even now).

The other part, and it's both kind of funny and kind of sad, is that driving is more dangerous than sex! FriendlyRiverOtter 04:10, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Second Playmate To Do Porn?[edit]

According to Susan Kiger's Wiki entry she acted in some B-films, but there's nothing listed in her filmography that is pornographic. I don't think it is accurate to say that Weigel is the second Playmate to do so. Lonewuf (talk) 22:08, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's because Wiki is incomplete. Her one porn movie, Deadly Love, is listed at iafd.com, and was from 1976, before she was a PMOTM. It was also distributed with the title Hot Nasties. Billdav (talk) 23:07, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have seen Deadly Love & remain unconvinced that Susan Kiger did any XXX acting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.71.242.42 (talk) 19:39, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard she's related to David Weigel who writes for Reason.[edit]

Could he be her son? Needs a citation I guess. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.222.192.193 (talk) 01:29, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of category link[edit]

Teri Weigel, based on information presented in the article, is not and never was a courtesan or a prostitute. The closest any given information comes to to that is specifying that she worked in a brothel as a featured performer, which does not imply that she serviced customers. She was a pornographic actress, and in that sense had sex for money, but this is not commonly considered the same as prostitution. I would be perfectly prepared to believe that she had at some point engaged in outright prostitution, but I'd need to see documented evidence first. Given the stigma placed on prostitutes, I think it's unacceptable (under WP:BLP) to categorise her as one without such a citation. --7Kim (talk) 19:49, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As on her own sites and numerous places on the web attest - she has invited persons to pay for sex with her. There are attestations from the customers and links to reviews of these the encounters. 68.152.95.130 (talk) 18:23, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

These references didn't exist in the article when I raised my objection. Now that they do, I'm satisfied. --7Kim (talk) 20:18, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is her own official website a good enough source? Tabercil (talk) 02:13, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Body[edit]

She obviousley is no longer a b cup and I highly doubt she is 108lbs. Should the infobox information have a note that these are from her Playboy shoot in '86?

Remarried now under family name Weigel-Hoffart[edit]

Birthdate[edit]

The infobox gives "1961/1962", but why?
And why the Playboy datasheet is not considered a (reliable?) source? It has February 24, 1962. As does IAFD, and many more places. 86.115.97.143 (talk) 10:57, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What Playboy datasheet is that? IAFD is not a reliable source. See WP:SPS. --Sangdeboeuf (talk) 22:10, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
