And in Poland, Opowieści o pilocie Pirxie (1968) contained all the novels except Ananke. I'm guessing the dates are for the English publication. --Tgr (talk) 09:45, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison to Asiimov[edit]

A similar idea is present in Isaac Asimov's Robot Series, where putting a robot in a position where it cannot chose between the Three laws of robotics fries its positronic brain.

I have to say the comparison with Asimov is off-base--the central idea of The Inquest is that a human may freeze up when confronted with a no-win situation, but a machine will not.
