  • Comment (not a review, am a DYK newbie): Seems a really interesting article and excellent hooks. I was just a little confused by the use of "and". Wondering if this could be reworded slightly e.g. "... was convicted of second-degree murder but later pardoned for assisting guards during a prison break"? Otherwise it sounds like the conviction and pardon (or the conviction and the assisting of the guards) happens at the same time. Could just be me. • Chocmilk03, thanks for your comment. I am not at all wedded to any specific hook wording and am open to any word smithing. I just thought of ALT3. – Muboshgu (talk) 22:14, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Looks good to me. I am going to give this review thing a go:
General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Looks great to me. Article length, content and citations all fit the requirements. The hooks are well-cited (reliable sources I can access) and interesting; ALT3 would be my preference because I think the wording is clearer. Earwig flags a potential copyvio but on inspection that is a website that copies from Wikipedia rather than the other way around (and no other issues identified). As noted, I am a DYK newbie but I think this is a very clear approval. Chocmilk03 (talk) 17:28, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
