Question[edit]

Why can't I find a copy of this game anywhere?

  • You cannot be serious. But, um, if you are, Amazon.com and .uk both stock the game. - CaptainSurrey

POV statement[edit]

"The Bora missions are uesualy harder and often pay less but most think picking the Bora is moraly right."

What statistical studies have been done to prove the above statement?

From a Nietzschean standpoint, one could argue that the Galspan corp is on the morally superior plane. It's all relative. - CaptainSurrey talk

I am not big on philosophical discussions, but I tend to agree with the statement. Just because the ancestors of the Bora forgot to fill out the necessary paperwork does not mean that they have not earned the right to live in their region. They built what they have with their own sweat and blood. What GalSpan is trying to do is similar (intentionally?) to what the American government was doing to Native Americans. Humans don't automatically have claim to all the universe. The Bora declared themselves to be a separate entity, a different nation, if you will, in this view, GalSpan is the aggressor who wants to take all the Bora have "for the good of humanity". Also, considering that GalSpan has no problems killing innocent civilians just to make a buck tends to put them down as villains. ChronoLegion 8 August 2006
I feel that way as well, but that doesn't change the fact that it is entirely subjective, as well as original research. Unless you can site a reputable source to back it up, it really shouldn't be in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.53.37.221 (talk) 08:39, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nietzschean standpoint? what is that???

Planet Orbit[edit]

In the Official Guild (that comes with the game) I belive it says something about the planet Starbase Alpha orbits I might add it but I need to check this source —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.150.94.70 (talk) 10:33, 14 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Just wondering[edit]

I was just wondering what caused this article to score a low assessment? To be honest, it seemed very comprehensive and accurate. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dazice (talkcontribs) 06:39, 13 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

  • Probably because it's a long, rambling article on a low-rated game of no real significance. I suspect it was written by a die-hard fan, or the developers themselves. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.226.142.243 (talk) 11:11, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:TachGate.jpg[edit]

Image:TachGate.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
