Messy page[edit]

This should be a small challenge for the regular contributor to this page:

  1. you need to add, expand and split the article into proper sections,
  2. rearrange the existing sections in the order as stipulated by WP:MOS,
  3. and lastly, do a final copyediting (remember to check the grammar!) to smooth the readability flow of the article.

Do this right and you might get a barnstar for significanty improving this article. Thanks! --Dave1185 (talk) 22:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sigh! And I don't even like Europop..... (and I don't suppose the Sockenpuppen are going to bother) --Elen of the Roads (talk) 22:33, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • If it keeps them busy doing what they do best, its well worth a shot. Otherwise, they can always clang like an empty vessel does, eh? --Dave1185 (talk) 23:24, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You Tube[edit]

Can't use You Tube as a source, and that clip must have a dozen different copyvios in it, as not only does it violate AKTE's copyright, it violates the copyright of any of the artistes (AKTE may have had permission to use clips, but the vidder certainly didn't!). If one of the German editors would look on the www.sat1.de site, the search may turn up a reference to the item) --Elen of the Roads (talk) 23:07, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

While on the subject of copyvio[edit]

Just discovered that the text added by Warrior4321 is a copyvio of [1] --Elen of the Roads (talk) 23:14, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look at the history. I didn't add any text, I just put it together. I took the information that was already present in the article, and arranged it better. Even taking a look at the edit sumamry, would have shown you that it was merely a rewrite, no information was added by me. Mr.TrustWorthy----Got Something to Tell Me? 23:22, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies. In that case you and I have both moved this copyvio around at some point. I suppose one of us will have to rewrite it. Nice work on the new layout btw - looks like a proper article now. --Elen of the Roads (talk) 23:25, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks . Is the entire article in copyright infrignment? If not, which sections specificially violate copyright laws. Mr.TrustWorthy----Got Something to Tell Me? 00:23, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The entire timeline section is a complete lift from [2] word for word including the errors (eg it originally described them as "filling" a lawsuit, before I corrected it.). I suspect the original lede was also a lift. Gah! --Elen of the Roads (talk) 00:42, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Picture of Systems In Blue[edit]

The main picture is not really from systems in blue, it was taken by a fan, and later I was asked to edit it for make one better version in tribute to Rolf Köhler, wich was posted in different places. But is most a personal picture, SIB deserves a real picture who describe the band, please I hope you can change this picture, I have many that can go there --Foxyfan (talk) 02:55, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you have pictures that are in the public domain (ie they are not band publicity photos) you can upload them yourself.--Elen of the Roads (talk) 03:40, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The pic of the group in 2005 is currently a copyvio. And is available in http://systems-in-blue.de . --MisterWiki talk contribs 15:53, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination for deletion of Systems in Blue[edit]

I'm nominating this page for deletion for the following reasons, this article fails WP:BAND, also these albums and songs considered failed per WP:NALBUM and WP:NSONGS, it would be nominated enough to be exact sure these songs and albums are affected by the AFD discussion, undersourced article to be exact without improvement so the i'm nominating the band and also the songs and albums to AFD because it lacked NBAND, NSONGS and NALBUM, respectively. 2600:1700:9BF3:220:F428:A306:AA8C:7475 (talk) 04:19, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The band does not seem to be the most important band in Germany, let alone in the world. However, there is a lot of material in third-party sources that could be used to improve the article. A simple Google News search pointed this article from Kreiszeitung Wochenblatt, another by the Spanish newspaper El País, and then another by the Russian Peoples.ru. As a result this band does not fail WP:BAND, but the articles about their albums and songs should be discussed individually, as they may not be notable.
