became Trouble, a channel for teenagers. During a long break from Trouble (1997), Sweet Valley High was picked up and shown on Fox Kids in the evenings (1997-1998), where the new episodes were aired. It was then brought back by Trouble (1998), which repeated all four seasons, for a period of two-three years (1998-2001). Trouble suddenly stopped showing Sweet Valley High, which was in the middle of the third series; it was clear that Trouble had finally let the show go. Following this, The Disney Channel UK picked up Sweet Valley High, and aired all four seasons, during weekday evenings and late nights (2001-2003). Sweet Valley High is no longer shown in the UK and is sadly missed.
