To Improve Article[edit]

  1. Expand list of works with bibliographic details (was excessively long in a previous version of the article, but is now quite short).
  2. Include reviews, including some from Kirkus and Publisher's Weekly.
  3. Add information from coverage. Try here and here. --DiamondRemley39 (talk) 10:10, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Jonstonewrites I contested the PROD based on the subject not wanting to have the article because: she is a notable person. The two revisions in the PROD box read

  • "subject of BLP wishes to have article deleted as keeping it up-to-date and accurate is too difficult for them" -- she shouldn't be editing her own Wikipedia article.
  • "subject of BLP wishes to have article deleted as inaccuracies make it less helpful for people looking for information with other resources available" -- the Wikipedia article effectively not being good for marketing Mallery is not a reason for having the article deleted; I don't know what inaccuracies there are -- unless she has a different number of cats, poodle, husband, or bestsellers.

Given its current state, I don't blame her for disliking the article. But it can be improved. As the creator of a number of articles about contemporary writers and someone who is not unfamiliar with her work, I am aware she's not only notable, but, given her popularity, she's rather essential to the Women Writers WikiProject and would be an undertaking for the Women in Red WikiProject. I am going to have a busy few weeks, but I can make a number of improvements to the article this week and in a few weeks after that. Don't nominate for deletion yet. Thank you.
