The result of the move request was: moved to Susan Cunliffe-Lister, Baroness Masham of Ilton per Necrothesp's unopposed suggestion. If the subject is still unhappy then we can always revisit, but the original proposed title clearly runs counter our standard naming conventions. Jenks24 (talk) 13:42, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Susan Cunliffe-Lister, Countess of SwintonBaroness Masham of Ilton, Susan, Countess of Swinton – Requested by subject at OTRS 2014042810015667 - as the name used by the subject and to avoid confusion with a close relative. --Relisted. • Rename to Susan Cunliffe-Lister, Baroness Masham of Ilton. The subject clearly does not understand Wikipedia naming conventions, but as Baroness Masham of Ilton is the title under which she sits in the Lords and by which she's best known then there's no problem with using that, even though her husband's title is more senior. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:03, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Arms[edit]

Debrett's gives citations for both her father (Sinclair baronet of Dunbeath) and husband (Earl of Swinton), but Susan's heraldic status is omitted. Do we have any sources for her? Robin S. Taylor (talk) 22:02, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
