Moved to mainspace by Missvain (talk). Nominated by Hamza Ali Shah (talk) at 19:05, 13 July 2022 (UTC).[reply]

  • @Missvain and Hamza Ali Shah: New enough into mainspace and long enough. This page looks like it's had an odyssey in draftspace. No QPQ needed as nominator has fewer than five nominations. However, there are substantial textual issues.
  • The article currently does not mention the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. The hook fact must be in the article. It does check out to the provided source, which is already in the article, at least. It's just a matter of writing it in there.
  • The quality of some references leaves me wanting, especially
  • [3]. Can you find the original BBC article or video instead of a repost from the organization?
  • [20], whose title sounds quite promotional
  • [27], a promotional YouTube video
  • [31] Daily Express, flagged as generally unreliable
  • [39], again very promotional title
I appreciate that there appears to be a history of UPE editing to this title and it has taken quite a bit of work to get it even in mainspace. More work is needed on weeding out insubstantial sourcing. Ping me when you've made progress on this task. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 05:41, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi @Sammi Brie:, thanks for your help. I’ve fixed all the issues you mentioned.
  • [3], I’ve removed the reference as there were other references there which verified the statements. I couldn’t quite find any BBC article or video.
  • [20], I’ve replaced the reference with another one.
  • [27], I’ve replaced the reference with another one.
  • [31], I’ve replaced the reference with another one.
  • [39], I’ve replaced the reference with another one.
I have also added a mention of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. Thanks,  Hamza Ali Shah  Talk 02:45, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks, the references look good. Made a few other tweaks too—the one I'd note was trimming back that one sentence that had five associated citations (!). The hook fact is now in the article. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 00:59, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Hamza Ali Shah:The article does not mention that the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is equivalent to the MBE. Can you add this information to the article, and ensure that it is cited? If this is not possible, please mention it below and we can suggest an ALT. Z1720 (talk) 14:58, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I posted a message on Hamza Ali Shah's talk page. Z1720 (talk) 17:43, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Readding tick as my concerns are resolved (the info is in the article and verified) and this was previously approved. Z1720 (talk) 01:02, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Spice Village[edit]

He's apparently the guy behind the Spice Village chain, but doesn't seem to be a current director (although each restaurant is a different company and he has about half a dozen entries in companies house). The One Million Meals company was dissolved in Jan 22.[1]. I know this is OR.. Secretlondon (talk) 23:59, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
