100 year old data[edit]

Finding data from 100 years ago - that too of a small town in West Bengal, India, was exhilarating. To be able to trace a book from Google books to an university library (UCLA) using WORLDCAT(and eventually extracts of that book) was a learning. Being able to access pages of a Calcutta newspaper from more than 80 years ago, a newspaper which has ceased to exist was unbelievable. Thanks to all the digitization efforts of Amrita Bazar Patrika by CSSSC, UCLA and the Nehru Memorial Museum & Library, New Delhi. SP 05:45, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
