Notable publications[edit]

Im sorry, but not every limited edition they do can be catalogued here. i would say, if they publish a work first, which is then published by a larger publisher, its notable. if they publish a short story or novella as an original work, not a reprint from a collection, its notable. but limited editions of works already published by larger publishers, thats commonplace. this is not to disparage their quality or editorial integrity, just their relative notability for our purposes.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 03:28, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Found this article again by chance. the lists of authors and illustrators should be removed, and replaced by the notable titles they have published, as i indicated above (ive added a few to start). novellas originally from a magazine are ok. definitive editions revised by the author, ok. the key is: are they taking a "chance" on a work being sellable as a stand alone book, or are they merely cashing in on a proven seller. whoever takes the risks gets the glory. reprints are wonderful, essential, necessary, but usually not notable.(mercurywoodrose)50.193.19.66 (talk) 19:27, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
