According to Dictionary.com, sub silentio means "under or in silence."[1] In light of the discrepancy between this definition and the definition proposed in this article, I deemed it sensible to add citation tags to the latter definition. Likewise, I added citation tags to the author's explanation of sub silentio as it is not entirely consistent with the extended definition proposed in Dictionary.com. Hopefully, the pros will sort all this out.
