Canadian release date?[edit]
I found iTunes source for Canada but it says "Stuttering (Reserviced Version) - Single by Fefe Dobson"?
What does 'reserviced version' mean? Was it a limited period release that expired and then was renewed? If so, how to find the ORIGINAL release date that could be used as a reliable source?—Iknow23 (talk) 02:25, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
What is the difference between format 'Original version' and the 'Reserviced version'??[edit]
If it is the same Audio recording but means a Re-release, then 'Reserviced version' does not belong listed as a different format. —Iknow23 (talk) 23:52, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Google is no help as a search of 'what is iTunes Reserviced version?' returns "Stuttering (Reserviced Version) - Single by Fefe Dobson - Download ..."
Is this the ONLY 'Reserviced version' on all of iTunes? It must have some meaning, otherwise they would not say that!—Iknow23 (talk) 02:42, 7 November 2010 (UTC)- I have just discovered that iTunes has deleted the US original release item "single/id389834012" of Sept 7, 2010 and now only shows a "single/id396152199" with a release date of Oct 12, 2010! This is the same as the 'radio date' and there is no mention of any difference in the actual product. Thus deleting the iTunes ref as it is a dead link that will no longer support the material (being the release date of 9/7/2010). The Amazon link however still shows the 9/7/2010 date so that is kept, as the date of FIRST release is to be always reported. I know that Amazon is not reliable when it comes to future release dates (which really isn't all their blame as release dates are frequently pushed back, as we all certainly know) but is reliable when reporting a past date (something that has ALREADY occurred).—Iknow23 (talk) 03:07, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

- I'm reading this now! Good work. You're a very dedicated poster! I ended up getting a Wiki username today to try and report Ending-start, but I'm not the greatest at figuring out codes. I wish they just had an easy form! But anyway, that's OT. I have also been very curious as to what this 'Reserviced version' is. Have you tried YouTube? I'm avoiding listening to any of her new stuff so I won't be spoiled. I already know all of her 21 Music songs by heart, so I need to be surprised by SOME songs when this thing finally comes out! - Thank you for your comments. Sorry, wasn't trying to be mean about the 'professional' stuff. Oftimes editors have to be sorta 'matter-of-fact' due to the limited space available to them in the edit summary. I do appreciate your efforts but still strive for 'fairness'. I used the same edit summary as if this was a non-Dobson article.
It is my understanding (correct I hope?) that 'Standard edition' is the new 'standard' (no pun intended) for reporting Album track lists. I would welcome a Deluxe edition, but do not have any info on that. Another chance for more Dobson material, is if released internationally.
