Summary Rewrite[edit]

In my (admittedly anonymous) opinion, the summary needs to be rewritten, as it seems overly lengthy. I would do it myself, but have not seen the film. 128.194.34.170 01:29, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

tbh, i don't think you need to have seen the film to rewrite it, just take out stuff you feel would be classed as spoilers. i have just seen the film, hence me taking a look here to find some info, and i've shortened it. i've removed the plot summary too long notice, but i'm not entirely sure if it's still too long!! if anyone thinks it is, then go ahead and re-add the notice!
i have taken most spoilers out, as there is no need for them, it ruins the film for those that haven't seen it, and i'm glad i checked here AFTER i'd seen it! i know there's a for and against debate on spoilers, but we don't need to know every single detail (as seemed the case in this summary). I never saw this movie because I didn't have a steady girlfriend at the time. So I am asking, does this movie specifically call the school the fictional "Maryland School of Arts?" If so, I'm cool with that. Otherwise you need to change that. If it takes place in Baltimore, I assume the school discussed is MICA or "the Maryland Institute Arts College." 68.83.91.224 (talk) 15:00, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Trailer Song[edit]

There's one song in the trailer that I can't seem to pick on the soundtrack - It's a fast beat with a heavy scratch over it that's played at the same time as the footage of Tyler dancing on the car. Anyone have any idea what it is? --Stretch 09:38, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is it the one with a man and a woman singing and dancing? I think, if it is, it's where they're at the party! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iluvreadin (talkcontribs) 04:43, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Koda Kumi[edit]

Isn't Koda Kumi's single BUT / Aishou the theme song in the japanese version? How come it doesn't say that?

Plot[edit]

I have attempted to clean this section up, but I need help please. --Vindicta 05:23, 6 April 2007 (UTC) Edited the plot heavily, but still poor. The last paragraph is terrible!--Vindicta 20:19, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

see my edit above, i've tried to fix the summary today, but i wasn't sure of the ending. i didn't want to give much away! i'm not one for spoiling someone else. i myself don't mind reading spoilers, but only when i CHOOSE to read them. i don't like not being given the choice, like would have been the case here, had i not seen most of the film before reading this page! i was near the end of the film, before i started reading here!! Someone messed with the Cast[edit]

I edited the cast, someone added themselves in using their first name as being the "lovers" of some members from the movie. If someone could check the cast now to make sure it's correct, it would be appreciated. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Adamlazzara (talkcontribs) 18:03, 27 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Step Up.jpg[edit]

Image:Step Up.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

== Racial Relations :D :P

The article claimed that "Nevertheless, all liaisons and romantic relationships in the film are between whites or between blacks, and nowhere is there any mention of an interracial couple." As far as I recall, Lucy's "older boyfriend" was white? --Leviel (talk) 20:07, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Howie[edit]

"Howie Feltersnatch" (sounds like "how he felt her snatch"), in the actors list, looks like vandalism, but you've left it there since November 23, 2009. So is it an actual joke in the movie? Art LaPella (talk) 05:05, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Touchstone Pictures[edit]

Also made part in distributing this film. check out from other Wikipedias and movie itself!

It's not in the citation. You need to provide a reliable source that explicitly lists it as a production company. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 12:49, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You people are sick, known you since 2010...

The IMDB is user-generated content. It's not a reliable source and can't be cited on Wikipedia. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 13:33, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Again, just sick and tell that to IMDB...

188.169.39.207 (talk) 13:37, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why not watch the movie already?

188.169.39.207 (talk) 13:37, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also Walt Disney Pictures too...

188.169.39.207 (talk) 13:42, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
