Untitled[edit]

What, a U.S. coin whose mass is not only specified, but actually mentioned on the coin, in metric units? This must be some kind of fairytale. JIP | Talk 15:06, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Possible VfD as I see no proof of it existing. Redwolf24 2 July 2005 07:48 (UTC)

Google seems to confirm its existence [1]. --Canderson7 July 2, 2005 14:25 (UTC)

"Stella"?[edit]

Where did this name come from, and was there some significance to it? 24.214.230.66 (talk) 19:18, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stella comes from the star on the reverse. 2600:4040:5D30:4800:E0C8:5E90:256E:944E (talk) 00:43, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced Scandal[edit]

The following statements appear in the article: "but not before several hundred restrikes of the Barber flowing hair design had been produced and sold to Congressmen at the cost of production. These later became a source of scandal when it was noted that a number of them ended up as jewelry pieces adorning the necks of madams operating some of Washington's most infamous bordellos." This passage has been in the article since its inception but has never been sourced. My attempts to track down a source just lead to blog posts published long after June 2005. Unless a source can be found to support the statements, then I think these statements should be removed from the article. 47.217.107.180 (talk) 18:35, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
