In the 1971 bulletin Descriptions of Tennessee Caves, the Tennessee Department of Geology stated that it regarded the tern "Ste. Genevieve-Gasper Limestone", which it had previously used (notably in the 1961 bulletin Caves of Tennessee) to be an obsolete equivalent to the term "Hartselle Formation", named for a type section near Hartselle, Alabama. 75.235.145.234 (talk) 20:23, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
