Epidendrum cornutum[edit]
S. oculata is sometimes confused with Epidendrum cornutum due to a published description in 1894 of S. oculata as E. cornutum. Because the name Epidendrum cornutum had been used 53 years earlier by John_Lindley for an Epidendrum, the 1894 publication was a "nom. illeg.", or illegal name.
For this reason, I have removed the redirection of Epidendrum cornutum to Stanhopea oculata. Jay L09 (talk) 17:33, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
