Stan's birth name
Stan's birth name is just Stan, not Stanley. You will not see him called "Stanley" on any biography, news article etc and as such I have edited the birth name and name in the beginning of the article. Marnifrances (talk) 13:59, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Walker's New Album
His website does not have very much info on it. I was unable to find anything about his new album or "the lead single". If you can provide a link to a page on the site with that info, then please reference it. Safety Cap (talk) 08:04, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Stan's New Zealand heritage
The way that the second sentence of the first para. has been written is confusing. This is it: "In New Zealand his heritage tribe is Nga Potiki (a sub tribe of Maunga-Pohatu, and Ngāi Te Rangi in the city of Tauranga)." I suggest this as a replacement: "In New Zealand his heritage hapu is Nga Potiki, a sub tribe of the Ngāi Te Rangi iwi (tribe). Maunga-Potiki is the mountain." The second sentence may read strangely to non-Maori, but it is correct in Maoridom. However, my suggestion leaves out the reference to the city of Tauranga. This is because there are two possible reasons for it being there. One, that the reference to it is down to a strong family connection to that city. However, two, in Maori heritage, those from the northern area of Ngāi Te Rangi consider Tauranga to be their heritage sea. So I do not like to delete reference to Tauranga or say it should be one or the other.
ALSO in a feature on the Maori TV programme 'Native Affairs' broadcast on 24th May 2010 there was a suggestion that Stan is Ngapuhi (another iwi altogether) and the small town Tangiteroria was mentioned. Upload picture in infobox
Does anyone have their own picture of Stan that is not copyrighted? I strongly advise anyone of you's to upload a picture because it will make his article look better. If you don't know how to upload pictures well look on the left side and you'll see a category called "Toolbox" then click on the link that says, "Upload file" and then click on the one that says "Entirely my own work" Cheers! Australian Idol Section too long
I think that the section where it talks about Australian Idol is too long. It needs to be shorten, some of the information on their can go on the Australian Idol article of the season Stan was in. ozurbanmusic (talk)
Numbering chart peaks
There is no problem numbering the charts like this ---> No. It was already like this --> N.o for over a week and no one had a problem with it until Adabow kept changing it to number. Theres really nothing wrong with the use of both. But I prefer 'No.' it shortens the section a bit and it's easier to see the chart peaks. Just because Madonna's 4 minutes article doesn't have it, doesn't mean we copy! ozurbanmusic (talk) 06:52, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
