Architectural style[edit]

The article describes the house as being "in early Georgian style". If it was built in 1680-85, this would mean it was built in the reign of Charles II and pre-date the Georgian period by at least 29 years. It would be Restoration style, though the National Heritage List for England record entry describes it as both Renaissance (too early) and Queen Anne (too late).
