Palestinian refugees in Souf?

My understanding is that there is a significant population of registered Palestinian refugees in Souf. Is this true? I noticed that one individual just removed the Category:Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan category and {{Palestinian refugee camps}} template. --Abnn 22:14, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes there is a palestinian refugees camp nearby Souf. But souf is still an existing town in jerash which was there for many centuries.In jersh, there is also a camp called Gaza camp, but it is not possible to call Jerash Gaza. The same thing with souf, we cannot limit the name souf to mean souf camp just because it has been built on a land nearby the town.

Tribes in souf

There is an arrogance person who always erase all souf tribes and keep his tribe for a reason I do not understand. We all respect his tribe ( Otoom ) as one of souf tribes as we do also respect with other soufanians tribes mentioned in the site, but we do not agree with neglecting other people and other tribes in souf as he do, so we agree with listing souf tribes with an alphapetical order for nuterality whcih seems to be inline with Wikipedia policy.

He also claim that somebody whose name is mwafaq as the most famous figure in Jordan. We never heard of him and no body did so, and no body would care, this is totally selfishness and irresponsible and wrong and it is again against Wikipedia policy. We beleive that everybody in souf is important. We created this page for the people of souf to make them proud of their town souf, and so he should be so. His arrogance reflect a negative picture about himself and may be about his tribe wich we all respect.

I reverted a recent edit to this article by 196.218.253.168, since it looked like a test edit, before noticing that it included the following piece of legible text:

“ Tribes of Souf:Many arabian tribes have lived in souf for many centuries.They mostly immigrated from the arabian penninsula and palestine.The greatest in number is Al-Otoum Tribe.They are originally from Yemen who immigrated to Palestine where they fought with Saladin in his war against crossade campaigns. ”
