Article rating[edit]

Based upon a number of Wikiprojects I have rated, this article is a C rating (the article is substantial, but is still missing important content). It is definitely above a Start level but needs more content such as is found in We Are the World's article. Because this article is still relatively new, sections still need to be fleshed out like the afore-mentioned article in order to bring it up to a B or FA level.

It is rated at the Mid level because of the human interest in the on-going Haiti relief effort. The full measure of this article will most likely not be known for possibly months or years to come.

Finally, as its story is still emerging more references will be needed.--Morenooso (talk) 08:19, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup needed[edit]

Nonstandard formatting has begun to creep into this article. References were deleted which were restored in my last revision. I have begun some of the cleanup but this article could use a good copyedit. A cleanup tag will be added to this article.--Morenooso (talk) 22:18, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possible copyvio violation[edit]

The recent change today came from this article La Canción which is in Spanish. While checking the citation, I noticed that the editor translated it and just about pasted verbatim its words into today's article. I request another editor to confirm this and if necessary revert the article.--Morenooso (talk) 22:32, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just used Google translator as you suggested on my talk page, and the text added to this article was pretty much the same as what was mentioned in the link you've provided. Even without the translator I could tell that the positioning and formatting of the copied text placed here matched what was in that source. I've restored the non-copyvio text. Good find, Morenooso. Today's reversion[edit]

Today this article was editted without sources which has been a problem for this article. In effect, the author attempted to parallel or place information that is unsourced to reflect an article that already exists. While the Latin artists or more likely the record label adopted the same logo, there is no documentation that the Estefans patterned their effort off that one. Instead, every citation reflects that this was total new collaboration based upon the original work done by the We are the World effort. Without citations today's edit involved original research is not allowed. --Morenooso (talk) 01:54, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

Tonight another artist got added. I don't remember seeing Taboo in the mix or song. I am going to put a cite tag on it.--Morenooso (talk) 07:12, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
