Name[edit]

Going to ping DGG about this but in researching him a little to turn this into something besides the professor's CV, it seems his name may actually be the original title. Any ideas about Egyptian naming conventions? StarM 03:31, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

StarM is right: this is the link to the Library of Congress Authorities file: [1]; I am moving it back. I don't think it's the ordinary convention, but that is what seems to be accepted for him. DGG ( talk ) 03:43, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This needs help from someone familiar with education[edit]

I've cleaned it up some and am going to try to hunt down some sources other than his own books, but I'm really not sure what makes him notable. To be clear, not doubting that he's notable, but to someone outside the world of sciences, this article doesn't make it clear. StarM 04:15, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

what makes him notable is, quite simply, his books What we need to look for is his reviews. 3 by plenum, a good scientific publisher, 2 by excellent ones. DGG ( talk ) 02:23, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
thanks for that. I'll try to find what else I can add to explain that better & work on convincing him not to erase the content in th einterim. StarM 00:07, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
