Untitled[edit]

It lacks references... The Bandersnatch article says clearly where in the Lewis Caroll's works is saying that info on the Bandersnatch... I think it should be the same for the Snark... Also, I think it could have a Boojum section, saying all know info on differences between non-Boojum Snarks and Boojums... 200.230.215.9 00:42, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of the word[edit]

"Ocean Map" not necessarily by Henry Holiday[edit]

Lewis Carroll's The Hunting of the Snark (1876) comes "with nine illustrations by Henry Holiday". But there are ten illustrations. One possible explanation: The Ocean-Chart in is not necessarily made by Henry Holiday and Joseph Swain. This is a typographical illustration.
