In Psalm 98#Musical settings there is an unsourced (!!!) contention that Dieterich Buxtehude set Psalm 98. Singet dem Herren ein neues Lied, BuxWV 98, is now a redirect to the list of that composer's compositions. In that list there's no reference either (nor even a mention that this composition would be a setting of a particular Psalm). I had no time yet to look into the matter, so, for the time being, imho, a chronological listing works best. Note that there are also settings that draw their text from several "Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied" Psalms, e.g. for Dvořák's Psalm 96/98 setting (which maybe is not so often called by its German name in English, so not yet included in the DAB) there would be no way to list them in a "by Psalm" collation, unless when mentioned twice, which is against the rules of DAB pages afaik. --Francis Schonken (talk) 10:18, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
