Apparently there are major problems with this type of tv that has caused the filing of a class action lawsuit (a settlement agreement has apparently been made). Information follows if someone with the inclination and ability wants to put something about it in the article: http://sony-sxrd-repair-woes.blogspot.com/ http://esupport.sony.com/sxrdsettlement 69.148.183.20 03:32, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

VPL-HS60 have three LCD-panels. NO SXRD. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.115.7.34 (talk) 15:08, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Relevance?[edit]

SXRD doesn't deserve its own article. D-ILA, JVC's brand of LCoS which was released earlier, doesn't have its own article (redirects to Liquid crystal on silicon), and neither the lawsuits over SXRD nor the list of SXRD models is very notable. SXRD is not a unique technology or platform, just Sony's brand name of their variant of an established technology. 64.170.149.61 (talk) 07:35, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
