Is there a good reason why Tia Bella was removed from this page?[edit]

I can't imagine censorship here.

I don't think there was a good reason why she was removed. Maybe it's because she's a porn star and someone is ashamed of the affiliation. Fraternity and sorority articles tend to have a territorial feel to them in that people want to present the organization in a positive or at least respectful light. Additions that have a negative connotation end up in revert wars. Examples of this include the inclusion/exclusion of Ron Jeremy to the Tau Kappa Epsilon article and the constant removal of controversial deaths in the Lambda Phi Epsilon article. I would put her name back in but I don't know enough to verify it or where to even look to verify it. --† Ðy§ep§ion † 07:01, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tia Bella (Christina Smith)[edit]

I am removing the reference to Tia Bella (Christina Smith). Simple reason being I can find no reference to it (believe me I've tried). Searching for "Sigma Sigma Sigma" and "Tia Bell" produces a whole bunch of wiki-mirrors. Searching "Sigma Sigma Sigma" and "Christina Smith" bring up pretty much the same. The only place that I've seen it besides wiki mirrors is on her fanlisting site. Searching Epsilon Mu (chapter name) also brings up no valid results. I think as long as they have valid references the alumni (especially calli cox) should be left in but in this case I find nada, so I think that until a valid citation is found it should be removed. --ImmortalGoddezz 01:15, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Problem[edit]

I recieved the following on my talk page:

[edit] Untagged image An image you uploaded, Image:Sigmasigmasigmacrest.gif, was tagged with the {{Non-free logo}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{Non-free logo}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 00:42, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't remember uploading the image, but it's possible. To be honest this is confusing to me and I am not sure how to "fix" this. Could someone help me? (Jadis96 04:33, 30 December 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Probably not going to be able to answer this since you don't remember uploading it but do you remember where you got the picture from? I'll look up Sigma Sigma Sigma's copyright info regarding the crest tonight and post a reply soon. --ImmortalGoddezz 05:23, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Calli Cox[edit]

I'm all for including alumnae, even her (as I argued above), but her wikipage has been deleted and she's apparently non-notable. Please refrain from adding her back to the page unless she has a wikipage. Thanks. --ImmortalGoddezz 06:30, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

alumnae[edit]

I've taken out Billie Letts and Linda Dunham since I cannot find a reliable or verifiable source online. Since I'm not the one that referenced this page with the books and I don't have the books to check I'm hoping that somebody can go through them and see if either of the alumnae that I've removed are mentioned as being associated with the sorority or not. Thanks. --ImmortalGoddezz 16:57, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Continuing on, I've just removed the addition of Jennifer Blackburn Dunn and Gladys Morelock in addition to these other ones from the list, Jennifer Dunn is a member of Gamma Phi Beta and Gladys Morelock is uncited and a redlink. Please do not add these back to the list unless they have an article and can be sourced as being in Tri sig. Here's the information that was in with the alumnae and the results of the google search that I've found on Billie Letts and Linda Dunham:

Question... If the information would be found in The Path from Farmville or in the members only section of the Tri Sigma website how should or would that be referenced? Or could it even be as that book and section are only owned/ accessed by sorority members? 4.224.123.194 02:51, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Path from Farmville would be a suitable source since it is a published book. It is given out to members however not just members have access to it, which means that the information can be verified. Using a members only website is not a suitable source since generally those are created by the sisters who have access to it and the information, while given in good faith, might be inaccurate. WP:CITE gives general information on citing something; Wikipedia:Citation templates gives the templates that you can use when citing something in the article. Hope this helps. --ImmortalGoddezz 03:00, 22 October 2007 (UTC)B========D[reply]

Calli Cox[edit]

She has had a wiki page for a long while Calli Cox website — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:4:1080:284:A46B:A1A4:4534:8185 (talk) 05:34, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, and there's no doubt about her membership, according to sources it's even tattooed on her posterior. Weedwhacker128 (talk) 01:50, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

1) Honestly, I'm not sure if any of the last few men mentioned in the "Tri sigma men" section are real or involved in the history of the chapter. 2) This article needs more sources. I'm pretty sure it's notable considering it's in local news, but nationally, so I'm going to replace the notability tag with a source tag. 3) Does this article really need a list of convention locations? I'll reorganize it anyway, but maybe it'd be good to just remove it. originalmesshow u doin that busta rhyme? 11:31, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
