Did this race really take place in 1987?[edit]
I have added the Racing Post reference to the 1987 race won by Butt and Ben. However as this was a race restricted to 3-y-o I would suggest that it should not count as running of this (all-aged) Novice Hurdle. The first running of this race would therefore be in 1988. (JockeyColours (talk))
