Removed sentence[edit]

I removed the following: If one listens to the ending of the song, Marvin says "it's not good to masturbate" which further explains why he needs to have that "sexual healing" with his woman. which may well be what he says (sounds like it to me, althouhg the official lyrics say "ad lib") BUT the speculation is editorial musing, not verifiable. I always thought that was a bit of a joke, not to be taken seriously. As Marvin is dead and so far as I know never commented on this, nor is there a 3rd party review which specultes about this, it is all OR. KillerChihuahua?!? 21:36, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing 7-inch single.JPG[edit]

Image:Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing 7-inch single.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:49, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I always thought about the lyrics of this song where he repeats something that's good for me and it makes me wonder if he had anything more appealing to say or maybe he simply had to keep the intimacy and rhyme so no-one would think he was a smartass or the album wouldn't get a Parental Advisory tag, like Purple Rain

Escape Orbit[edit]

Do your own research. You're just too dumb to erase my little bit of my additional edit to that "Sexual Healing"page. Dude, it's also featured in GTA: Vice City Stories in a fictional radio station Vice City for Lovers (VCFL). Play that game and it's one of their playlists in VCFL. The song has appeared in hundreds of places over many years. What's so special about it being in a video game that it should be mentioned in the lead? And content on Wikipedia should be cited and verifiable, so it's your responsibility to do that, not anyone else's. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 23:33, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
