Separatist president?[edit]

The article about Doku Umarov shouldn't be taken as Wikipedia standard. In fact the current situation is directly opposite - check the articles about Dahir_Riyale_Kahin, Arkady_Ghoukasyan, Igor_Smirnov and Fatmir_Sejdiu. They aren't called separatist presidents. Don’t push your POVs here. If you label President Umarov as separatist, then Bagapsh is definitely not only separatist but militant leader of the separatist regime as well. Picking on Chechnya due to personal admiration for your own country? Spare me your classification of standards of separatist leaders for another time. Bagapsh is separatist, unofficial, self-impose or impostor "president" of the republic which never existed and never will. I can also designate myself President of Toronto, ethnically cleanse whoever does not agree and operate a Republic due to US funds and military support. Therefore, I know how much you love Abkhaz Separatist regime, but the proper naming stays as it is. Ldingley 15:55, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Doku Umarov doesn't control any territory in Chechnya now. That's the main difference between him and S. Bagapsh, Dahir_Riyale_Kahin, Arkady_Ghoukasyan, Igor_Smirnov and Fatmir_Sejdiu.
(a) 'separatist president of the unrecognized de facto independent Republic of Abkhazia, which is recognized internationally as de jure part of Georgia' is clearly redundant. Adding the word 'separatist' does not give any additional info (as it's written that Abkhazia is de hure part of Georgia) and is there to make a point (imho).
(b) This word is not present in the articles about other leaders of unrecognised states,
(c) The was no consensus on adding this word to the version of the article that had been stable for quite a long time. Alaexis 06:23, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know you will be more than glad to see all opponents of Great Russian nationalism and imperialism banned on Wikipedia. As you can see Luis is still active here; so you will have to live with it. As for "non-separatist president", there is a legal (non-separatist) government in Abkhazia and it has its own chairperson.--KoberTalk 04:37, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh Russian club of separatist "presidents" friends are back, they should work for "ApsnyPress" (maybe they even do) :) LOL. Anyway, yes there is REAL, OFFICIAL, RECOGNIZED, ELECTED representatives of Abkhaz Government which has both jurisdiction and constitutional right to represent that autonomous republic. Therefore, the post of "presidents" is fake in Abkhazia and is used by impostors and self-designated so called politicians who belong to the Russian-backed, sponsored separatist regime. Do not attempt to mislead the public intentionally. It snot working on UN (Churkin tried) and it will not work here either. I wonder when did my tone change about Kosovo. Fatmir_Sejdiu is one example I've given you here. I've already written somewhere that I think that Kosovo's independence is the only real solution of this issue and will happen sooner or later (even though I don't like it). Again, if it were 1998 now I'd have no objections to calling Maskhadov Chechen president without any further epithets. You can't possibly accuse me of double standards.
Now, back to the article. Could you answer the points I've raised higher ((a), (b) and (c))? Alaexis 15:11, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
